This year will mark the 25th Running of the Jacobson-Swan River Classic. We have all the old sleds from the 60's - 80's. There will be many trophys for such catagories as oldest sled, hard luck sled, best restored and so forth. We will also have the now famous 'Builder's" catagory. Who knows, you might see a jet fighter, a stagecoach, or even a Wooden snowmobile. Registration at 10 a.m. and awards at Swan River around 5 p.m. This is one event you will want to see.
National Straightline Snowmobile Racing will host it's 3rd race of the NSSR Super Series on Forest Lake in Forest Lake, Mn on Saturday February 13th. Registration is from 8AM to 2PM and Racing Action is from 10AM to 4PM.
Racing on 1000 foot shaved track with over 2000 feet of shaved shutdown.
Classes for Stock and Mod Vintage with classes for newer sleds, ATV, and Motorcyles. Trophies for top 3.
Cost is $5 per person lake access fee, $5 insurance fee per driver, and $5 per run or a $40 all day pass for each machine. Bib Rental is $10 and refundable.

10th Anniversary of Cruiserfest held Feb. 12 and 13, 2010. Friday night opening ceremonies parade of sleds( all welcomed to join in), bonfire, and fireworks display and in the American Legion Hall a spaghetti dinner with entertainment.
Saturday the BIG DAY! Pancake breakfast in the American Legion Hall with entertainment, our huge silent auction and bar. After breakfast head out onto Lake Minocqua for registration to run. Radar runs for new and vintage sleds. Trophies and cash prizes for both! Races are being done by The Winter Sports Club of Marseilles, Illinois,sanction rules apply. Vendors will be on the ice along with all four sled manufacturers presented. Ski-Doo and Yamaha will be there with displays and lineup of sleds to demo. Yamaha will be presenting their new 2011 Yamaha's. Polaris and Arctic Cat also will be having displays. Evening has a dance with all the silent auction items going to the highest bidders!

3rd Annual Luck Winter Carnival Vintage Oval Race Saturday Feb 13th 2010. Registration opens at 9:00 am and racing to start at 10:00 am. Once again the Black Moshannon Snowmobile Club will be hosting their annual Poker Run and Vintage Sled Show and swap meet Feb 13, 2010 at the Mid-State Airport. The airport is located at 451 Airport Rd, Philipsburg, PA, 16866.
The vintage sled show is open to all sleds 1981 and older. 1st and 2nd place trophies in several classes. The Poker Run is open to all machines that are registered and insured. The swap meet is open to all sleds and sled parts.
VINTAGE SHOW
The vintage sled show hosted by the Pennsylvania Vintage Snowmobile Club. Paul Gunns and crew will be judging and organizing this event. Registration starts at 9 am. Trophies after lunch.
POKER RUN
The Poker Run will be held at the Mid-State Airport. The Airport is located 8 miles East of Philipsburg on Route 504.
Registration Time: 8am - 10am
NOTICE: All poker run registrants will be required to provide the
registration number, and make & model of the sled at the time of registration. Failure to do so will eliminate you from participating in the Poker Run. This is a
DCNR requirement which our club must comply with in order to hold
the poker run.

Dust off that old iron (or not) and come on out to Ham Lake and show 'em what you got. Then join us for a parade of vintage sleds around the lake and trail ride. The Ham Lake Snowbowl is a celebration of winter with events and attractions for the entire family. Some of the events include a medallion hunt with a $500 prize, snow golf, broomball tournament, frisbee golf tournament, ice fishing contest, snow sculpture contest, sport dog competitions, dog sled rides, helicopter rides, free childrens games and activities and of course the vintage sled show and ride. Display your favorite old sled for a chance to win the People's Choice Award for your trophy room. To enter just purchase a Snowbowl Button ($5). This is the Beissel Big Boyz Toyz 8th Annual Vintage Sled Ride. In the past we have had 80+ Vintage Sleds come for this event. Sign up starts at 10:00 AM at the Winter Huskies Groomer Shed just off State Hwy. 70 in Winter. Look for signs. Ride leaves at 12:00. The ride is approx. 30 miles on the Tuscobia State Trail with plenty of stops on the way. We serve a Broasted Chicken Dinner and refreshments after the ride ( approx. 5:00)in the heated groomer shed. After dinner there will be Trophys handed out for Best Of Show in each class, also other trophys for various catagories, some are "Just for Fun" trophys. Our show will be tied in with an employee benefit on the grounds of Meadow Greens Restaurant. Money will be raised to help people who lost their jobs when the restaurant burned. Second Annual Vintage Snowmobile Triathlon on Saturday, February 20th, 2010 - Bailey Hill Lodge, Ulysses, PA. Come out and test your skills! Drag, oval, and cross-country competition all at the same place at the same time! Each entry gets two timed runs on each track, the lowest total accumulated time from all three tracks is the winner. You have to run the same sled on all three tracks and no changes are allowed to the sled once you start running. Six classes for vintage sleds. The Hastings Sno Mos Snowmobile club will be hosting its yearly snowmobile ride and show on Feb 20 2010. Located at 6925 160th. Street East. Hastings MN. 55033. Show starts around 10:00 AM. The trail ride leaves at 11:00 AM. We will be going on about a 15-20 mile ride with gas and pit stops along the way. For those who do not ride they can display there sleds during the day in are new indoor show room. This show takes place at a farm where we have a large heated shop to use. Through out the day we will be having meat raffles and an engine melt down and refreshments availible. We will also be having a 120 race for the kids (stock sleds only please) Throphies will be given out around 4:00. You do not have to ride on the trail ride to be included in the awards. All sleds are welcome to ride on the trail ride old or new.

18th Top of the Lake Snowmobile Show & Ride
Feb. 19 & 20, 2010. It's our 18th Annual weekend of fun with the old sleds in Naubinway, MI, located 45 min. west of the Mackinac Bridge on US 2 in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.
Friday - 9am Breakfast ride (11 miles) to Engadine for a great breakfast put on by the American Legion Post #290. Helmets are required.
Friday afternoon - Bonfire ride and Hus-Ski Hustle. Ride 3 miles for a hot dog/brats/marshmallow roast, an eventful show of Hus-Ski power riding, and lots of "sled talk".
Saturday - 10am-3pm. Display of all sleds in downtown Naubinway. Free registration will be at the Snowmobile Museum, 2 blocks south of US 2.
Banquet at 4:30 in Engadine with a presentation on the featured sled (Mini sleds), raffle drawings and an auction with the proceeds going to the Top of the Lake Museum Building Fund. All donations are tax deductible.

The East Herkimer Sno-Riders will be hosting their annual Hot Dog Races on Feb. 20th at Kast Hill Farm just north of Herkimer, NY starting at 11:00 A.M. Register early for vintage show, radar runs, hot dog races, kitty kat races, and enduro races. Special feature this year will be the Leo N. Foland Memorial Race. There will be a payback for this race, 1st - $150, 2nd - $100, 3rd - $50. This promises to be a fun filled day for the entire family. Safety will be of utmost importance. Please use any and all safety equipment - helmets, goggles, tek-vest, and tethers. There will be enduro races for two single cylinder classes and two twin cylinder classes. Get the vintage sleds out and enjoy some old fashion fun. Club will be serving lunch and beverages. For those needing tek-vests, club will have a few available. Drop off point is still to be determined, it will be near the Outagamie Co. fairgrounds, I'll update this when I finalize the details.

All Makes models and years welcome. Event is free We are planning on riding from Counter's bar in Bellechester MN to Mazeppa and back about 20 miles round trip, and will have tow sleds to pull back the dead ones.
The event is put on by the Goodhue - Bellechester Rail riders snowmobile club. There are no fees awards or prizes just alot of fun.

Tomahawk FROSTival will be having its first Vintage Snowmobile Show and Swap Meet. It will be on Saturday, February 27th 2010,starting around 9:00am at Sara Park on the west side of Tomahawk next to the river. There will be all sorts of events this weekend, from the Vintage Show and Swap Meet, to Polar Plunge into the frozen river,a Hockey tourament, snow sculptures,ice fishing contests, Trail rides, plus other events around the city,during the day and that night. We will also be having a dance out at Sara Park Saturday evening with plenty of dancing and beer and other refreshments. We are working on some kind of awards for different classes, There will be NO REGISTRATION FEES, but still want people to sign up so we can keep track of the sleds that showed up. We will also be having a FREE SWAP MEET, so bring your old parts and sleds to sell, we will have plenty of room. Pack up the truck and come on over, this may be the last swap meet of winter and you may find those needed parts for next summer vintage builds....
There will be plenty of food and refreshments at Sara Park and around town for your pleasure. There will be a Pancake Breakfest in the morning to start your day off,and we will have World Famous BAMBINO'S Pizza at the park, plus plenty of inside warming areas if your toes or fingers get a little cold. We are also working on having a few of the local snowmobile dealers come down and set up displays and possile test drives.

12th Annual Fish Lake Classic Snowmobile Challenge!!! Saturday Feb 27th, 2010. Over 400 Snowmobiles the last 2 years, 1980 and older. This event just keeps growing every year. 20 mile round trip, half lake, half trail with several stops on the way. Breakfast served at nearby Blue Max or Eagles Nest. Food venders on the trail and at Hi-Banks Resort. Hot meal served after the ride at the Fredenberg Community Center. Several trophies and many door prizes. Grand door prize is a vintage snowmobile. Rogers City's 6TH Annual show and ride, will once again take place at the Waters Edge Restaurant & lounge, down town Rogers City, on the 12-13 of March. The fun ride , hotdog roast will once again take place at the 208 hunting camp on the 12TH, starting at noon and running as long as you like no time limit. We will once again have a 4-5 mile trail all on private property,to ride on. Registration for the show starts at 8:00, Saturday morning at the Edge, with the show starting at 10:00, and ending at 3:00, with the banquet starting at 5:00. We are having the all you can eat Whitefish dinner again this year, along with the 50-50 drawings, chineese raffle, cash bar, ect. We also have a trail at the show to ride your sleds.
