The Best of Henry Briscoe's Collection.

Here we show just some of Henry's sleds. You can see all the photos from when we originally shot Henry's collection on the vintagesleds.com CD-ROM. Click on any picture to see a larger version.

I first met Henry on my Eastern tour in 2001. I spent several hours with him and his collection on a warm summer day. As the sun started to head into the horizon, Henry fired up each and every one of the sleds and drove it up into trailer. There's nothing better then open pipes & the smell of racing fuel when you haven't had a fix for awhile.
Henry is retired, so lately he has been able to spend a lot of time working on his collection - and a place to put it. Currently he does the world's most amazing job of packing all the sleds into the red trailer. It looks a little like sardines crammed in there when he's all done, but it gets the job done!

Henry's newest work: This 1980 Arctic Cat SnoPro. Henry says it came with a boat load of spare parts. Henry is getting this one ready to ride this winter and wonder if it will keep up with his 250cc RXL? I think so!
1978 RXL with a 1979 upgrade kit. This one is mostly original, Henry just replaced the monoblock motor with his a 250cc RXL motor.
Another of Henry's new additions: This beautiful 1973 650cc EXT.
650cc King Kat. Unrestored and in original condition. Henry put on a new set of shocks and re-chromed the stirrups. Other then that, she was cleaned real good and that's it. the original owner raced the sled a little in 1971 and then it sat in his garage under a King Kat cover for 28 years! Henry was in the right place at the right time when the second owner decided to sell her. The best part about her? The smell of the Klotz and the sound of her pipes!
1977 Arctic Cat Z. One of the nicest Z restorations I've seen to date.
Turf-Tiger in it's natural habitat.
Henry's beloved 78 RXL 250cc Super mod.
295cc Formula II
